Water and sewer are provided by systems operated by each of the towns, the
City of Norton and the Wise County Public Service Authority.
Electricity is available from American Electric
Power and Old Dominion Power Company,
whose rates are among the lowest in the country. Natural gas is available
upon sufficient demand at most industrial locations, and telephone service is
provided by Verizon Communications.
Digital telecommunications and fiber optics capability is available throughout
the area.
